The
National Association of Social Workers is the largest membership
organization of professional social workers in the world.
Representing more than 150,000 members from 56 chapters in
the U.S. and abroad, NASW works to enhance the professional
growth and development of its members, to create and maintain
professional standards, and to advance sound social policy.
NASW-
South Dakota works to serve the needs of its members in the
state, to enhance the image and advance the interests of professional
social workers, and to benefit the people we serve. Our goal
is to promote, develop, and protect the profession of social
work and social workers. We also work actively to advocate
and provide a voice for those we serve so their needs are
recognized and met.
We
invite you to join us and take advantage of the opportunities
we offer for continuing education, legislative advocacy, professional
growth, and leadership development.
